Tropical forests play a key role in global change mitigation and adaptation processes. However, their social, economic and ecological functions are under major threat. In this context, ÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â believes in ambitious, action-oriented forestry research.

In this note, produced ahead of the One Forest Summit held in Libreville (Gabon) on 1 and 2 March 2023, ÁùºÏ²Êͼ¿â sets out its commitment to the future of tropical forests along five main lines and six research areas. The note is illustrated with examples of projects and mechanisms for research and training in partnership on forests.
